The native plant movement set out to convince the public to plant native plants for their ecological benefit- and we did! Now it's our responsibility as professionals to ensure that we know how to deliver to a public that is ready to do conservation at home.
This course includes 3 classroom learning days in mid-January 2027, followed by 5 field trips across the growing season for hands on learning and on-site demonstration of concepts and techniques on existing meadow projects.
The class provides in-depth learning and hands-on practice intended to prepare professionals to add meadows and conservation-informed thinking to their planting and design approaches.
